Andrew Underwood Andrew is a partner and Head of Large Loss at Keoghs and specialises in defending serious and catastrophic personal injury claims. His team handles cases with a combined reserve value of over £150m and these have included one of the largest fatal accident claims in recent years. Andrew most recently handled the successful appeal in Harris v Perry (2008).

A founding member and former national president of FOIL, Andrew helped instigate a debate on the multi track personal injury process which has now progressed to a market initiative (the personal injury Multi Track Code) currently being piloted by a number of major insurers and APIL member firms. Andrew chairs FOIL's Process and Rules Special Interest Group and was heavily involved in the MoJ Process Reforms initiative, drafting FOIL’s and Keoghs’ response to the consultation. He is a member of BICMA and was awarded the accolade of Defendant Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year at the inaugural Personal Injury Awards in 2008.
