Colin Ettinger
Colin Ettinger started practice in personal injury cases in May 1976 when he was articled to Robin Thompson & Partners, becoming a partner and part of its senior management team in 1980.
In 1995 he left with two colleagues to set up the London office of Irwin Mitchell. Their personal injury practice is now regarded as one of the strongest Claimant personal injury practices in London. Colin has particular expertise in cases involving Health and Safety at Work issues, having been described as a "Claimant's champion" and given particular praise for his receptiveness to client rehabilitation issues. In 2008 Colin was rated as one of the top Claimant lawyers in England.
Colin is one of the founding members of APIL being its first London Regional Co-ordinator in 1995. He was President in 2004 and is now a life Member and Senior Fellow.
