Henry Bellingham Henry Bellingham practiced as a barrister for eight years prior to becoming Conservative MP for North West Norfolk in 1983. He subsequently lost his seat in the 1997 election, but returned to parliament in 2001. He has held a number of positions including Shadow Minister for Economic Affairs 2003-2005; Opposition whip 2005-2006; and Shadow Constitutional Affairs Minister (2006-2007). He is currently Shadow Justice Minister with responsibility for the legal services.
