Seeking GPs

Premier Medical Group is looking for recently qualified GPs to take on medico-legal reporting work.

Premier Medical Group (recently formed through a merger between Premier Medical and Medico-Legal Reporting) wants to increase the number of experts on its database.

Dr Harry Brünjes, Chairman of Premier Medical Group, said: “Our size and financial stability means we are able to offer guaranteed volumes of work but, perhaps more importantly to GPs, considerable security over payment of their fees.”

A Premier Medical Group spokesman added: “The campaign is aimed at newly qualified GPs but is open to other GPs. Newly qualified GPs, and particularly those who are developing portfolio careers, are very receptive to the approach and opportunities the structure that the medico-legal reporting models operate in.

Dr Sharif Helmy, a GP who started medico-legal work 18months ago, said: “Medico-legal work can be stimulating and directly extends a GP’s clinical experience. There is no doubt in my mind that this area can be a viable, positive and fulfilling part of a GP’s portfolio career.”

This is an ongoing campaign so there isn’t a deadline date for responses.
