Clare has spent 11 years training and working within Remploy; she initially trained & worked for Hertfordshire council as a Specialist Employment Consultant. Clare supported clients with disabilities and those with mental health conditions; such as depression, schizophrenia and anxiety into paid employment.
Clare previously worked as a Vocational Consultant with AIG Medical and Rehabilitation providing assessment and return to work services, enabling claimants to return to employment following accident or ill health.
For 3yrs Clare was the Vocational Services Director at HCML responsible for establishing, managing and developing the Vocational Services division.
Clare has a BA hons in Humanities and recently obtained Level 3 CPP (Certificate in Personnel Practice). For her research paper Clare investigated and assessed the benefits of implementing stress management policies in the workplace; to improve performance and reduce claim potential.
Clare has been an active trustee of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA) for nearly 3 years.
Clare is currently Vocational Rehabilitation Business Manager for Remploy VR, leading business development for the Personal Injury and Life Insurance Market.
